National FIRST Robotics Day
Rounded Cube advocates for H.Res.259 in the US Congress after the successful passage of HR0654 in the IL State Legislature.
H.Res.259 in the 117th US Congress expresses support for designation of the third Friday of every March, as "National FIRST Robotics Day." This resolution supports the designation of a National FIRST Robotics Day and its celebration around the United States. The resolution also encourages states and local educational agencies to fund after-school robotics programs. Finally, the resolution encourages schools and educators to observe the day with activities that teach students about robotics and engage them with the study of mathematics and science. Rounded Cube members campaigned to their representatives and contact other FIRST team's in an effort to acquire co-signers on the bill.
Help us with this outreach event! This flyer has information about acquiring co-signers.
